Right now i have the stock head unit and a PPI pcx-5900 5 channel amp supplying power to all the speakers and 1 10" rockford he. But i am using line out converters to do it and they suck mine are going out the keep on loseing signal and if i wiggle them it will come back. But my plans are to sell the car soon and i want to take my system out. What head unit should i get i really want something cheap but looks nice im sure most of them are better than the stock head unit. Please post suggestions.

would you want one that plays mp3s or WMA music files? or just a regular HU. I would also reccomend the Pioneer stereos.
Also to my experience the Sony xplod line is junk. Ive had many problems with diffrent stereos and amps from the Xplod line...so i would say stay away from it.My car has GPS trackin\',traffic alert,its own phone #,PS2,screens. honestly, get a NIB one if you can find it, or even a used Pioner DEH-p7300. 3 sets of rcas, it is good for fine tuning to a point but not TOO indepth that you will never use half the features, and its got some screen savers.
pioneer makes a good product for good money.
