  • Rear Speakers (BackSeats)

I am looking to replace the speakers in the backseat side (inthe pillar) with some new speakers as they are blown. Is the size 6.5 or 6.5S (6.75)?

    Thanks

6.75, but you can't just replace the speakers if you have the monsoon system.

May I just suggest that you replace all 4 of your blown front speakers before you buy new ones for the rear....

the problem is how the monsoon amp is wired to the headunit, its all kinky for this reason that they are harder to replace, but its easy if you take everything out and put in all new speakers with a dif amp.

Basically, it's just a plain POS. #2 All the speakers are (or wired to be) a 2 ohm load. 99% of aftermarket speakers are 4 ohm. Double resistence, half the power. HOWEVER, recently a thread had been posted by our buddy Rogue Leader stating that he has figured out a way to replace ONLY the stock speakers. Yes my friends, our 2 ohm battle may be coming to an end....
