  • Express window down

No on has posted about this in about a year so I figure I would put this up.

Just did the passenger express window down mod yesterday. It took me about 25 minutes (most of that was getting the door panel back on correctly). Doing the wiring takes about 5 minutes. The price of the module has gone up a little since I first looked at doing it, but I still think its worth it. If you haven't done this yet or you are just hearing about it now GO FOR IT!

People have discussed doing an express up & down before, but I don't know if anyone has actually followed through with it. The driver's module is located in the dash behind the stereo head unit.

Part# 12182126. If you can find one on a junk yard car it will be much cheaper than from www.gmpartsdirect.com, but most cars I have seen in junkyards have them striped.
