I just ordered this sub, which is dual 2 ohm voice coils, rated at 150rms per coil. I also ordered the MTX 311D, which produces 200RMS at 2 ohms and 100 at 4 ohms. I was just second guessing using that amp to power the sub. The amp is a mono sub amp, but has 4 binding posts, I assume 1 pair for each coil for subs like this. What I'm wondering is will each terminal see a 2-ohm load or will wiring it up like that produce a 1-ohm load (somehow forcing it into parallel wiring). I know that amp cannot run a 1-ohm load.
