I have a 2000 F-body 38.L and have a lot of electrical extras which draws too much power and my alternator has trouble keeping up with charging the battery. What type of upgraded alternator would be a good choice along with a battery? Thank you for any info.

You could try adding a capacitor if this is audio equipment. Optima batteries are always a good choice.
