I have a 94 firebird w/ 2 12's in the truck and they rattle the rear end very very severely. I tryed putting foam tape behind the taillights and license plate but the rattle seems to be coming from under the car. It sounds like one of those old cadiallacs with bass. Do any of yall have this problem??? How can i get it to stop???

Dynomat the entire trunk. I even took off that piece that says "CAMARO" and did the back of it. Mine has very few rattles now, but i also only have 1 10. There really is no sure fire way to get rid of the rattles. I've been trying for three years and have not yet been sucessful. You can minimize it by using dynomant like Amped96, or try using electrical tape and the unscrewing the rubber things on the hatch.

yup yup, he's right. its almost damn near impossible to get rid of EVERY single rattle and hum in your trunk. even with my entire trunk dynomatted, I still have this annoying-@$$ vibration in my passanger side tail light..and its not so much the housing itself, but INSIDE THE LIGHT! Our cars rattle like a mofo anyway.. I would put several layers of brow bread down. Yep! The panels rattle some, but if you step outside when it hits loud, you'll notice if you press hard on your taillights, it stops rattling... can this be remedied??? if you want a cheap way to start. use under coating. pull out your carpet and spray the **** out of it. i know it sounds strange. but it deadins noise better than dinamat. then use a thin layer of carpet pading over that and you will notice a world of differnce. as for the tail light i have not been able to figure that out yet. :mad:1995 trans amComment
