Radar/laser jammers

WHo has one? Tell me about it.

I used to have a phantom II jammer, but it quit working. I was thinking of upgrading to something better.

MOst of the ones I find only jam X and K band radar too. I need one that jams Ka band. THat is what most cops use anymore.

A long time ago I saw some instructions about how to build a home made radar jammer, but I didn't get a copy of them. Does anyone know anything about that? I would like to try and build one, but I wouldn't know where to begin without instructions.

Oh yeah, before I get flamed: I don't street race and jammers are legal in kansas. I only want one because I do a lot of highway cruising. NOT street racing.

No radar jammer will jam Ka band. Its almost impossible to jam. I have looked into it and there are no jammers that will cover all of the bands.

No Passive jammer will jam anything. Active laser jammers, which they sell and I believe are legal, supposidly work...

Active radar jammers are illegal. The jammers you see that are legal don't do ****.

I figured as much. I believe the active jammer are very very expensive too, like $2k.

I wish I could track down those instructions I found on how to build a jammer with radio shack parts.

Scorpion XP is an active radar jammer....around $600. But not for Ka.

The problem is with active jammers, your violating FCC laws, that's not something the FCC take lightly...

On a side note about the FCC, my friend works for a local cell phone retailer, and they had a display for those lightup phone cases, you know the ones that flash when you get a call. Well that was actually transmitting an RF signal. It turns out it was jamming a cell tower right next to the tower. He happen to be working the day FCC came by, The walked in, flashed their bagdes or whatever, said the display was jamming a cell tower, picked up the display, and left with it. I don't know if they got fined or whatever, but I definately wouldn't want to mess with the FCC.
