i got the nine.1 amp from elemental i installed it and it wont come on. im so frustrated right now i checked everything. all fuses are good i got power to everything but the amp wont turn on. i tryed my buddys amp and it turns on. what up with mine? is the amp bad?
Only reason why I think that wouldn't be the case is because you said the fuses were good. Try the ingition signal (signal that tells the amp to turn on). An easy way to see if that's the problem is just take a piece of wire and touch it from your 12 volt constant to the ignition turn on, if it still doesn't turn on, re-echeck your fuses. That's all I would know what to do.
r u sure about the ground because thats usually the problem that people have when installing their systems and they do not turn on. the paint needs to be scraped away around a good area and it needs to be tight.

i accidentally found the problem! well i had to clean up to head over to my sisters. so i pulled the fuse by the batt and split. well my bro is really good with those voltage meter so i we found out the remote on was good and all the continuitys were good. but i didnt have a fuse with me so i connected them directly. the amp came on and everything. what happened was the fuse was faulty. its the agu style. the big glass ones with gold end caps well one of the end caps was loose and barely touching the cap. so the fuse looked ok but it wasnt.

All I can suggest is recheck the fuse(s) on your amp again. I've come across fuses that've "looked" like they are good; however, they were blown. If you know for sure the ground and power wires are good (which should be since you say your friend's amp works), I would just replace the fuse(s) with new ones and see what happens. If still no luck, return the amp for a brand new one immediately.
EDIT: Looks like you beat me to it before I posted this. I'm glad you got it figured out
