My cat just went out in my car, I had a jet stage 2 chip on my pcm, I pulled it out ran the car for 20 minutes and parked it for the night. Next day I drive my car barely to a GM dealer where my dad works, he got the scan tool out to see codes, sure is shows a ingition problem because of a bad cat, but it also showed a pcm error because of the jet chip that I had. If you have a warranty left on your car make sure that the pcm error coded is errased somehow before you go to the dealer for warranty work or they will spot it. Disconnecting the battery does no clear codes!!!!!!

By disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery Im pretty sure it DOES clear the old codes...
