Check out ebay for stock CD players. Or www.speedautomotive.com has it sometimes.

Almost any aftermarket one can fit, with a proper dash adapter kit...

I had the Bose in my car for about a day and a half, "GREAT" isn't the word I'd use to describe it. Just my opinion, though. ;)

You might try and post on the for sale board. There are lots of people would would love to give you the're old CD player.

If you want to go aftermarket, there are several aftermarket companies that make GM/Chrysler sized DIN and a half units that fill the entire space.

You may also want to look into a seperate cd changer. While the dash unit is a tape deck, I have a 12 disc changer in the trunk which was a factory option. The delco radios and I think the Bose ones as well have built in external CD support. Unfortunatly I have no idea if this route would be any cheaper than replacing the dash unit, but its another option to consider.

in my opinion best head units are (from first best to last) alpine, clarion, pioneer premier (reg pioneers SUCK *** ... cd lens loves to get out of alignment)... get something w/ 2 or 3 preouts so you can amp speakers and get a sub or something....

I've found Alpine to be lacking these past few years. A friend of mine had problems with 2 of 3 of his Alpine HU's, and he got them for $300-400 a HU. I've only the more expensive Alpine's to last long! JMO...

As for Clarion, I like this brand! I've seen these puppies last 5 years+, with no problem more than needing a lens cleaning when it scratches.

I like the new Pioneer with the pretty display and screen savers, but I hate it's price tag! $320 at stereo shops, $350 at sears(Charge card)! This thing has so many different settings even I can get lost while playing with it!

But spending THAT much money, I could do a lot... I wouldn't mind a 93-97 T/A front bumper... is 350 enough for that???

350 is worth it for a good HU... the head unit makes the system... if there isnt a good signal coming off of it then nothing will sound good

just get a 1 din (regualar size) and just get the frame that makes it look normal the 1.5 din's they make aren't very good.

                      You can't go wrong with Panasonic. I absolutely L O V E my Panasonic (DF800U). I wouldn't use any other brand.
