I'm working on getting rid of my Monsoon system, starting with the amp. I plan on adding subs later, but with a separate amp. I'm looking for an amp to replace the Monsoon, and I was wondering if I could get some recommendations on amp power, number of channels, etc. ? Also, does the factory wiring setup have to be changed?

Yes. You'll thank yourself afterwards. So for now you just want to replace the monsoon amp? Replacing the stock speakers at the same time? I wouldn't hook up and aftermarket amp to the stock speakers.....unless you have a lot of fire insurance! :D You'll want a 4-channel amp that outputs ATLEAST 40WRMSx4@4ohms. How much you looking to spend? Search Ebay for "KX600.4". That will give you 75WRMSx4@4ohms. If you can afford more, search for "KX800.4"
