  • questions about amp for components

i plan on getting THIS AMP to power all 4 of my component speakers.. my HU is a kenwood (5.0v preouts, 50x4 mosfet.. THIS ONE ).. and my components i have right now are audiobahn abc600t at 4 ohms (THESE ).

i just want more bass from what i have right now. i miss hearing more low end. (i do NOT want subs.. just a really good sounding system). will i need two sets of RCA cables to go from HU to amp? (my headunit has 3 rca outs. L,R,sub.) Also, does that amp have 2 different sets of RCA inputs for L and R speakers? what do i need to do to hook it all up to work? is this a good setup? thanks.

2 rca yes!! i had the audiobahn 4004 hooked up to my 2 components and 2 coaxials and they screamed as for lowend i really dont know, as i have a sub and dont need them for that, IMO if i was you i would put 8's in the sail panel for a lil bass and hook that 6004 up to the 8's and the 2 components! just a suggestion!! do you have 4 components or 4 coaxials n/m i looked! did you buy 2 sets of components? if you havent bought anything i would only buy one set of components b/c that 6004 will only beable to push 75 watts rms x4! if you buy one set of components and bridge the amp then that would be pretty well matched up!! then get you a small cheap amp and do the 8 sub in the sail panels, lmk and ill try to help ya out, send me a pm or something!

you should have 3 sets of rca's/ front, back, and subs.

an amp helps out so much. i just ordered a set of elemental designs eu-700's. theyll be here 2marrow. if if you still want some more low end maybe you sould check them out.

how would i wire the sub to work with that amp? i would probably only get one set and put them in the back.

will they fit? or will the back of the magnet hit the frame of the car?

im putting them by the back seats.

im pretty sure you could get d4's and just wire them up paralell. this would give you a 2 ohm load and 150 w rms 2 each speaker.

ive heard that they wont fit directly, and that youll need a half in spacer. i havent seen them in a f body yet though.

there on 50 bucks a piece right now but there going to go up to 85.

im going to try and put mine in tomarrow.

im using a eD nine.4 to power mine.
