Does anyone have access to a sketch or specific information
as to where the plug to the cable is located in the back
of the head unit on the Moonson...that is the plug to the
cable that goes all the way to the trunk area where the
cd changer connects on a 2000 camaro?
If your Camaro came equipped with the Monsoon system, the cd-changer wire/plug should be there. There won't be a plug if you don't have the Monsoon system.
To find it in the back, you need to remove the drivers side sail panel (the panel wayyy back in the hatch area). The wire will be all folded up and wrapped in black tape and foam. Up front, I found my plug just laying loose next to the other stereo plug. It may just be taped back in there.
I just want to know how to pull the radio so I can disconnect the other end of the cable you describe that is found in the trunk hole. i have a new convertor that i will plug in place of that plug and give me a new right and left input keyed into the aux
function on the radio face
