Sub Box

Lets here all the crazy but reasonable ideas people have for a sub box!!! Ones that i can do! They got to be unique! I need a really cool one!!!!!! Lets here E'M?

how many subs are we talking about here and are you actually wanting to do this? if it is 2 subs and you want to have something to show off then the one dangerous showed is pretty much the best you can do. I would put an amp rack in the middle though if you aren't putting nitrous in.

^^yup..either just slap some carpet over where the nitrous is or..like T-Punk said..that would be a sweet spot for an amp rack...it still leaves room to put stuff in the back in front of the speakers (which i am selling also)..or on top if you cover the glass (unless you dont care about the possibility of scratching it..but i did) [img]smile.gif[/img]

How about something old school like building a wall directly behind the front seats and go with 4, 6 or even 8 twelves. :cool:

Is that another subwoofer I see in the back? In the stealth box? Is that an old pic? Or still there? I'm guessing so, because lighting in the pics are the same and the same amp is still in the same spot. What's that sub running off of?

I was searching sound domain one day and ran across a 3rd gen with twelve 12"s in a wall. Rockford I do believe....

This is the web page that inspired me to do my install. I recommend searching sounddomain and cardomain and getting ideas.

^^yup thats the stealth box..i actually had all subs running off the one 1000 watt amp...i should've had about 2000 watts...but i never bothered to get another amp because all subs THUMPED and never had any over heating issues or anything...im selling the stealth box and amp too...email me if interested [img]smile.gif[/img]

Yeah I remember seeing that myself; it's been a few years ago. I think it was a Blue Z28 and it showed a picture of the owner with two women around his arms saying they were his reward for all the hard work of making all those 12"s fit. lol.
