Neighbor gave me subs.....what kind are these???

My neighbor gave me his sons old box and amp. The amp is a phoneix gold and I just opened the box and saw that the subs said BOSTON 12.4LF. Does that mean Boston Acoustics? I took some pics b/c the subs look old, does anyone recognize these and if so how good are they. I hooked them up in my house and they sound decent but how would they compare to a new speaker say Orion XTR's.

those are Boston Acoustic's Pro series subs. I think the 12.4LFs are last years or before year model. They are very good subs if they work properly and are either 2ohm or 4ohm.

Hey Boston make HI-PROFILE subs. Those dont look that great though. The cosmetics look horrible! I bet they hit though.
