Speaker Replacements for Stock CD Player

I wanna replace my four 6.5S factory non-monsoon speakers with QUALITY replacements. What speaker do you recommend? I want a quality speaker that will sound better than stock, no jensen, sony, jvc ect. I was thinking JBL, Infinity, Polk, MB Q's, Eclipse, JL or whatever. Any suggestions? I want better bass responce and something that is easy to puch my my factory 35x4 amp.

how do u have a factory 35x4 amp without having the monsoon system?? Anyways u want to improve sound quality get a deck, i did today for christmas :D you would not believe the sound difference with a good deck, my friends didnt believe i still had the stock delco speakers in, bass is punchier and everything sounds sooo much better, just my $.02

sorry forgot ur question, but if i could choose speakers, i would go infinity kappas, great speakers, go to ikesound.com, great prices.

it's much more worth your while to get a quality deck to replace the factory one if you don't have the monsoon system. the problem isn't the speakers, it's the power that's going to them. a nice hu will make your factory speakers sound better than any speakers will sound with your factory hu.

I'm a big fan of Cerwin-Vega and Kenwood Excelon mids and highs, I used to have Vegas in my Camaro until my amp went bad and blew them up. My friend has Kenwoods in his truck and they sound awesome.

Go with Infinity, everyone (all over the world)is always talking about them, however I love my Alpine Type R's!

Guys have you seen the factory whizzer cone cone 10 ounce crap ball speakers??? No matter if I keep the HU or not, the speakers need to be replaced. Also the factory cd player is out of a Tahoe and GM rates it as 35 x 4. My Camaro is wierd came with every option except monsoon and ground effect, I have/had the tape deck and 4 crap speakers. Even with the upgrade to the CD player the sound has improved 100 times. Anyway back to the original question what speaker will sound good with a low sensitivity.

don't u want a high sensitivity, so u "get more" from ur speakers, if so look at some kenwood excelon speakers, but if u want low like u said look at mb quart their at like 87 dB while the kenwoods are around 93dB

Kenwood eXcelon KFC-X168 (6 3/4 in.) or

if u want high sensitivity look for speakers at ikesound.com that are around 92dB to 93dB. I love infinitys, but those kenwoods have really good ranges from around 25 to 40,000Hz, keep that frequency in mind when looking too. Good luck and if u cant make up ur mind go infinity cuz ive never heard a complaint about them although ive heard those kenwoods and they sound good.
