I was thinking this morning on the way to work that I dunno if I can make 36k miles with this crappy monsoon system. My aftermarket system in my camaro sounds SOOOOOO much better.
Are there any tricks to get the monsoon performing better or is the monsoon system hopeless?

I'm just curious but what do you mean by you can't make it 36k miles?

Well I just bought a pontiac cd monsoon off a friend with a 2000 firebird. I had the stock regular tape receiver before. I have all stock speakers. I do not know why but with this combination my system sounds dam good. Maybe its because the guy I bought the car off of never blasted his speakers. I dont know but it sounds like one 12 is in my trunk. All my friends with systems think it sounds awesome too, and they have aftermarket crap in their car. Just my opinion. warranty... the speakers are covered, and so is the head unit as far as I know.
I dunno, the whole system isn't very clear, and the bass pretty much sucks. I get mad distortion if move the 100k and 40k up pass half way on the eq. Are you saying if I put the monsoon head unit in my camaro with the stock speakers it probably sounds good?(the camaro had the acdelco tape deck)

Yep my car had the acdelco tape deck also. I would still try it out. If I move my 40k and 100k up 75% of the way I will get really loud clean bass maybe just starting to distort!! I keep it at about 45% of the way up right now and I still get loud *** bass thats plenty for me. What kind of music do you listen too?
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
Hi all new to the community here. I have a 2014 RS 6 speed manual... and so about a year ago my tail lights got cracked and eventually the plastic housing...
