I take out the carpet behind the box and push it all the way back. And the rear drivers side panel doesnt fit over it??? I had to cut off a part to slide it over, and now it looks like crap.
An installer said i had to get a piece from pontiac? Can anyone help me out?
What didn't fit? Did the entire enclosure stick out to far, or was the speaker in the way? From all the installs I have seen, the driver's side panel needed to be trimmed up near the top in order for the speaker to fire into the trunk with no obstruction. Did you have to trim it more than in this photo? http://www.jlaudio.com/stealthbox/camaro.html
If you look in the second pic, the trim piece comes over the top of the box(when its in all the way), and kind of holds it in. That piece wouldnt fit over the top of the box.....(i.e. the box isnt in far enough). Their is nothing in the way of the speaker.
