I dont know for sure but I think most amps have 30amp fuses in them. At least every one that i've ever had did.

could be that for 800 i would have at LEAST 20 if your not bridgeing if you are should be like 30 but other then that. it could be the ohm your running on like if your subs made for 1 and amp is for 2 etc...

Can you give us the model number of your Profile Amp? Also, how many subs are you driving and how do you have them wired? You can't just guess and put any size amp fuse in the amp.

Exactly. DO NOT just continue to up the fuse size. A fuse is there for a reason. If you continue to replace it with larger sizes, you run the risk of causing a meltdown.

              Re: amp blowing fuses

Not a good idea. The amp may overheat because it might not be able to handle currents up to 30amps. Figure out whats wrong with the amp, don't cause a bigger problem.

fyi everyone, he's good, i just checked, and on the profile cl800 800w amp, they use 2 30 amp fuses, so yea, that was def. ur problem unless you had a short, but i highly doubt it, if y'all dont believe me, its on their site, http://www.profileusa.com/products_amps_cl.cfm
