Yah, for the small sealed box getting no leaks at all is critical, otherwise you lose a lot of efficiency.
I know, I hate it when some air is leaking. Sounds like its distorting when its not even playing very loud. I got most of that fixed but I still need to get some carpet on the face.
If you would have used mdf instead of particle / osb.. it would sound better, a lil deeper, ive built boxes for a long time and it definatley makes a differance, good job on ur first box though.
I was told to put some polyfil (which is basicly cotton thats used in pillows and such) in it as it improves bass. Is this true? How much should I put in the box?
