okay first off I have one of those expensive batteries yellow top to be exact, I even upgraded my alternator to a 180 amp one that i had to special order.
I'm running 2 12' inch subs a 900 watt amp i added the 2 hatch speakers and have an indash tv/dvd player.
today my car went dead and i really dont know what to do I have upgraded what i can but with no luck and even when that car was running I would always notice that the amp meter would usually be at half or a little below half.
I was thinking of adding an extra battery in the trunk but I'm not sure how to go about this. so I just run the wires to the main battery positive to positive negative to negative? DO i just run positive to positive and ground the back up battery sperately? do i need something in between the wires, something special?
I really need help so like freakin guide me here :)
any other sugestions would be appreciated too! oh its a 96 3.8l Firebird if it helps.
