I hooked up my amp and it works great but the red warning light is on but i can't figure out why? my guess is that maybe my ground cable is too long. ( apx. 3 feet) Is that what it is?

Re: Red light on Amp!
Depending on the amp, the red light may just be power.
Not all amps have a Protect light, as long as it's working fine .. i cant think of anything that would be wrong, the ground cable really should be shorter but as long as it works w/e.
I think they say 2 ft or less on the ground.
What kind of amp? Specs? What subs you running?*Matt
