quality question

one of my friends just turned 16 and is lookin to get a system in his jeep but not spend too much... we were at a shop today and he saw some audiopipe and swiss audio subs that stuck out to him... does anybody have any opinions about how good these are... i dont think too much of audiopipe cause i have heard it once and it wasnt anything great... somebody else had a swiss audio 12'' in their truck and it sounded pretty good so i would say lean towards that... what do all of you think? thanks

Couple of lesser known and even lesser used companies. From my understanding, they're along the lines of Audiobahn. Not pyramid or pyle crap..... but far from great.

but would they be ok? and handle their rms rated power? i think they were both rated at 1000 rms.. lol

I think the best bang for your buck is Power Acoustik FUBAR-12 or FUBR-12 the FUBAR is the same as the FUBR but a different design, newer model. The specs are very close:

the previous owner of my car put in swiss audio speakers, they were coaxials and didnt even have crossovers, they are pieces of junk, stay away from swiss audio

How much is your buddy looking to spend? What exactly is he looking to buy? Just subwoofers? What size and quantity? Does he have a box already? Planning on buying or making one?

umm he doesnt want to spend alot... and he doesnt really wanna order anything off ebay.. he wants to get somethin thats from close to here.. thats why hes lookin at that shop
