i got one the other day install went pretty smooth um had to mod the end of it though bore out the hole bigger so the lug could fit in to the side of the battery but overall nice mod got rid of my alternator wine!!!! yay i am getting their stage 1 voltage booster tom.

there was talk about the rewire thing a while back... i think it would be cheaper to just buy all the wire and everything on your own and do the whole big 3.. but its cool that it helped out... whats the voltage booster do? i might be interested in it if it works

Yah, I'd upgrade the ground wires (engine - frame, engine/frame to batt) before doing the voltage boost.

yea i knew it was i dont know why i said i think.. i have like 11 ft of 4 gauge and 6 ring connectors in my backseat waitin to get done.. i just cant bring myself to do it i'm scared i'll mess somethin up

!?!? I don't think I could mess it up if I tried. LOL You're just replacing wires that are already there with thicker ones...not rocket science.:D

use any kind of ground cable (4ga. )

you can get battery cables from advanced auto or even walmart. they come in various precut lengths, and sizes(4 or 8 ga) with connectors already on there. there about 4 bucks a wire.

yea zzp used my car as the prototype car. we attached it to the + box on the pass side of my car. Nice little mod if you do feel like making your own which I didnt

How does it install? Do I need to cut anything? Do you have the ZZP installation instructions?

no need to cut anything. You remove the wire from the alternator and then replace it with the zzp wire and connect that to the positive terminal box on the wheel well. I rolled my stock wire up, taped it up, and tucked it under the fender and out of site. This way I can go back to stick wire if I ever need it.

Any suggections on what other (ground) wires can easily be replaced? A search does not provide a good clear answer. And suggestions on products or sources?

i havent noticed really any difference with the voltage booster, i havent upgraded my ground yet, but the positive is upgraded

The ZZP rewire stabilized my voltage a lot. I had a lot of extra draw on my battery from my upgraded stereo, MSD-DIS-4, ZZP Electric WP, radar Detector, ect. I also upgraded my alt. to a 165 amp unit, added a ZZP 10% underdrive pulley to it, and added ground wires. Needless 2 say, I have plenty of juice now and is flowing efficiently. Definitely worth the money spent.
