I was thinking of swapping out all of my bose speakers because i'm not all that impressed with the sound quality..especially of the sub. I know bose is a very well-respected name in audio technology, and i've been impressed with them for most of their products, but, this bose system my car has isn't impressing me too much. I don't know how much i'm going to have to spend to surpass the quality of the bose though.. I like the quality of sound from the door speakers, but because of the built in amps, they just make everything a pain. So what are your recommendations on speaker setups? I already have an aftermarket HU.

Re: switching out the bose?
Whatever Head Unit you get make sure it is iPod or MP3 compatiable
that is that it has R and L audio input jacks so that the MP3 unit can be plugged in. Since I started using my RIO mp3 player, its all I use.
AM is all Right Wing talk, FM is all commercials and CD's play a limited
amount of music.
