Hey guys new to the speaker game... Will this work?

    Front: Alpine SPS-170A http://www.millionbuy.com/apnsps170a.html
    Alpine SPS 1005 Tweeter http://www.millionbuy.com/apnsps1005.html

Rear Seat Speakers- Infinity 6012 si http://www.millionbuy.com/inf6012si.html

Rear Panel Speakers: Pioneer TS-G1041R http://www.millionbuy.com/piotsg1041r.html

    Here are my questions:

    1) Do I need the tweeter in the front?
    2) Will these speakers sound good with the moonson head unit
    3) Any other suggestions about speakers I should buy...(Note: I couldn't find the Rockford Sub as recommending at the LS1 Tech website) What is going to sound good, and give me good reliability.

    Any help is appreciated.

I checked the speakers via the link, these are the WRONG impedence
for the front. They need to be 2 ohm. Not 4 ohm, 2 ohm. The Kappa
    line at:
    http://shopper.cnet.com/Infinity_Kap...-31481426.html
Has the 2 ohm speaker for the front doors you need....IF U want to use the Monsoon Head unit.
As for the subwoofer on each side of the back seat...what U need is
a 2 or 4 ohm but a speaker that is very efficent with power that is will output good bass without a lot of watts.

He is correct there a 2ohm speaker would get more power, but a 4ohm would work just fine. You don't need the extra tweeter but it wont hurt, just add a little more definition to your highs, so just watch how you set your eq. Other than that looks good..

As far as subs go, if you want a high quality sub, I would like to recomend against rockford, doesn't sound like you are going all out or want a total spl box, and thats about all rockford does decently these days.

Personal opinion, I would look at Alpine, MB Quart, Boston Acoustics, A/D/S, something geared for sound quality, and thats what they advertise on, not on we can shake your car. That will give you a smooth clean, and well balanced output with the rest of your system.

Forgot about that, but it can be easily fixed by running down the speaker wire from the top tweeter location and wiring it into the tweeter. On the alpine speakers this is really easy if you know what you are looking at.
