Alright, I hooked up my ipod2car interface tonight and the ipod says it is charging, but I can't get it to play music on the car speakers. I have a cd headunit that was manufactured on march 20, 2000 so it is definitely after the mid 99 switchover in models. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a RIO mp3 player and I bought this unit:

It gives you a standard right and left channel. You take a male stereo
cable that goes in the headphone jack on the Ipod and music is played when you hit the aux/ button on the Monsoon. I have to charge the
unit outside the car. I would refer U to the dealer/mfg on the unit you have. My car is a 2000.PhilComment
