cd player skips when I step on gas

does anyone have this problem I notice when I step on the gas my cd player skips but it only does this when I go down to a half tank of gas when I filled my gas tank up it didn't do this I also have a strange nose like something is rattling also when I become a half and under on gas. Do yall think I could have a short or something I just recieved my flowmaster 40 series and I am thinking that maybe its an exhaust problem because when I lift up my muffler a lil bit the noise goes away can someone help me out on this

The rattle could be anything. Almost certainly not audio related in this case. Sounds like you have that pin-pointed to your new muffler vibrating against another piece of metal. As for your headunit skipping when you gas it....extremely odd....and only with 1/2 tank huh..... this can't be right. lol These things cannot have anything to do with each other. lol
