can some one point me in the right direction? im looking for (2) dual voice coil 4 ohm subs that run at a relativly low wattage. looking towards alpin type-s's but not really sure yet want to review my options first.
any help you can give me is welcome thanks
Rather than buy 2 subs, imo you should pool your money together and get 1 quality sub and bridge your amp. It'll actually sound better than 2 low budget subs, and it'll save you space.
I've owned type r 12s, mtx thunder 8000 12s, Audiobahn aw1200q 12s, and infinity perfect 12s.
I suggest perfect 12s. They are the loudest, cleanest sounding subs(in a sealed box) out of all the ones I've had. Crutchfield has a buy 1 get 1 free special on infinity perfects. 2 for 179.99. Free shipping and they have a 3 year warranty. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-HUU6JdR...08PER121&g=520
I had a jl 500/1 pushing them and bass mekanik would hurt and flex my hatch in my 97 camaro.
they wouldnt have that buy one get one with 10s would they cause 12" wont fit in my box
They are.... lol: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-MJu3YpO...20&I=108PER101
But these are single 4 ohm. I don't see a 2-ohm version on their site at all. And the Perfect is a very nice sub. Especially for small box applications. And if the are buy one get one with free shipping..... damn near impossible to beat for $150.

+1 for the kinda money you would be spending on subs, that is an insane deal on the perfects, they are nice subs especially for that kinda money right now!
