I'm pretty sure my 98 Firebird came with the keyless entry option, but the previous owner lost the key fobs. Well, I have some extra GM key fobs at home, and wanted to see if they work, but I don't know how to enter programming mode. Does anyone know how to enter programming mode in a 98 Firebird?
To enter programming mode you remove the radio fuse then put the key in the ignition and turn it to ACC. Now i'm not sure if thats the procedure for programming your key fobs, but you can adjust different setting from there by using different buttons and corresponding chimes.
