I need a new cd player that dosen't skip can anyone recommend me a good one that dosen't skip like my no name cd player did. I just threw it out my car do to frustration with it I need a good one that dosen't skip can anyone help me out with this

Ummm.... anything decent... lol :) As far as actual units that have something special to reduce the chance of skipping even further.... Sony made a slide out tray style headunit. Don't know if thats still in production. CDX-MP80 is the model number if I remember right.... (can't believe I can pull model numbers off the top of my head.lol) Other then that, you can always by a unit that uses flash memory of some kind. Then MP3 it up. Several companies make those...:) -

from personal experience, i wouldnt go with a sony headunit if you dont want it to start skipping after a while. My dad has had an alpine for quite a while and no problems at all. You can buy an alpine unit for around $150 and it will be good quality, and have many features of high end headunits. my .02Comment

thanks but I just bought and got my jvc installed for 89.99 and it came with a remote dosen't skip at all. It was really 130 but the guy charged me 89.99 because it was the one he had in the glass on displayComment
