Re: Wiring Schematic to convert camaro power mirrors with a firebird switch
Ive got a Haynes in front of me right now....but I don't have a scanner nor 2 hours to draw this out in paint. lol
But it does not show a difference between the Camaro V6's or 8's and the Firebird V6's or 8's on the power lock diagram. It specifies on every other schematic, but not the power door lock one. So one could only assume that they are the same for all. Which would be easy for you. Crimp color to color yeah? I'll still post up what I see in here though, just in case you can use it somehow.
FOR 1996 AND LATER MODELS ONLY
Driver's Door:
org/blk= lock input to BCM
red/blk= unlock input to BCM
blk= ground to BCM
Its the same colors for both doors obviously.
Driver's Door:
dk blu= left window motor up
Gry= express down relay
blk= ground
lt blu= right window motor up
tan= right window motor down
Same lt blu and tan colors for the switch in the passenger door. And I don't see anything in here about power mirrors....:(

Re: Wiring Schematic to convert camaro power mirrors with a firebird switch
Hmmm..... damn. Chiltons has the EXACT same diagram. Still doesn't specify firebird or camaro. And there is no other power lock schematics in the entire book. Maybe another member with a camaro can pop out the switch panel and help this guy out?
