  • New amp rack!

Well this is my first fiberglassing project. Took me bout 4 days from start to finish. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out being my first time ever messing with FG. I wrapped it in white vinyl. and D@MN i didnt know that stuff would be so hard to wrap.

looks good, but why take up all that space for one little amp?

    Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

Looks nice, I need to get pics of my install up here. Just joined the Fbody crew about a month ago and have been having a lot of fun making my car better.

Try forming it around tiny letters and logos. Looks real nice though. Hope your amp doesn't take a dump:)

I like them alot! i've had them for a little over a year and they're still going strong. Even with all the abuse i've thrown at them!
I'll have more pics up tomorrow

oh yeah. well my original plan was to have the amp on one side and a Chevy logo on the other side. but i decided not to. THANK GOD! cuz that really would have been a bish!

well if the amp ever does take a dump on me i get to make another one! and hopefully it'll turn out even better than this one. I really liked fiberglassing! i'm definately going to do it again. probably next time i'm going to make a fiberglass box for my CVR's to match the amp rack. Should look real good

thats exactly what i'm planning to do. I'm trashing that crappy box i have now and building a FG box thats gonna blend in w/ my amp rack. and i'm going to wrap it in the same color vinyl.

yeah i saw that a while back. I think i'm going to do the opposite of what you did though. i'm going to build the bottom part in mdf and do the top of it in fiberglass. i cant imagine fiberglassing in the hatch like that. the resin fumes were BAD lol.

Looks awesome man, very clean and smooth. Well good luck with the box, and show us some pics when you get it done. and hey while your working with the fiber glass , i think you should try using some plexi too. that would be sweet. Well good luck
