Well this isnt for my firebird but more for my brother. He has a 3000gt and just baught a box that can fit dual 10s. I was wondering what are the best 10s for a reasonable price? And what amp might you suggest?

    whats a reasonable price?
i could suggest type r's if he's on a really tight budget.

or i'd say dd 9510's if he has some money to spend.

A Hifonics BXi2006 would work well with type r's
A DD Z1 would work good with the 9510's

people think my single 10 sounds like 2 12's.
now im upgrading to a 12 that should sound like 2-3 12's.

to OP no lanzar (unless opti series), legacy, pyramid, jensen, pyle, volfenhag, blitz. i personally wouldn't buy anything from either of those sites. You get what you pay for in this case. The only even decent subs on there are the PA MOFO, SPL-W, Lanzar Opti series, and pioneers wont be too bad. For the amps, Crunches are probably the best on that site, the PA class D series, or Lanzar opti series.

          Some sites i'd reccomend are www.onlinecarstereo.com www.sonicelectronix.com or www.woofersetc.com

profile meh there alright, the spl amps are just lower end PA. yea any lanzar is overrated except the OPTIDRIVE SERIES. like i said the first time. anyway i gurantee my mofo hits harder than your lanzars and that can also be bought on that site.
fyi crunch is a maxxsonics product, so it is made by the same people that make Autotek, Hifonics, and MB Quart.

I'm not sure what you're looking for. You won't find a brand name 1,000 watt sub for a hundred bux. I can set you up with a pair of elemental designs 11kv2s. They are dvc and handle 550w rms each with a 3 year warranty. Comparable to a type R, only more power handling capabilities. http://www.subthump.com/eD.htm

If you want something beefire than that, then you're going to have to start shelling out major buckos. Adire Brahmas, JBG GTi's, W7s, 9500s, ID Max, etc. All those are roughly $350-400+ each.
