how do u remove the front side panel speaker mesh?
Re: how do u remove the front side panel speaker mesh?
You don't. Sorry but its hot glued in place. The door panel has to come off. But worry not, it's not hard. There's a walkthrough in the stereo section of the modifications encyclopedia.:)
Re: how do u remove the front side panel speaker mesh?
hahah Well, to be honest... they do come off... if you are careful while prying them off... but you can't get the speakers out. I pryed mine off and found out that the speakers don't actually fir through the holes. LOL BUT.... it is easy to take the door panels off. I did my power window motors and had to remove the door panels, and it was SOOOOoooooo easy.
Re: how do u remove the front side panel speaker mesh?
Mine just pop on and off. There are 4(?) little tabs, like the rear, that hold it in place. Unless, of course, mine are broken or something. And I'm not totally sure what we are talking about in this thread. The stock speaker grills?

Yeah mine just pop on and off with tabs. I use a screwdriver to pop them off and on when I want to adjust the angle of my tweeters (I have 2-way speakers up front, so the tweeter is in the middle of the cone).
