The other day I went to turn my left turn signal on and the whole thing broke and fell out. When I look inside the colum I can see the plastic piece that the plastic lever goes in, is broken inside...so I have to open the steering colum to fix it. Anyone ever done this? Know how to get in there?

Re: Opening steering colum
that wiper switch was $63, i broke the inside of the wiperswitch when i was replaceing the leaver due to the cruse control switch not functioning, it is a pain to get down there though, u are going to need a steering wheel puller and the steering wheel lock puller, u will also need a new retaining ring on the shaft, GM sold it to me for about $5, i bought two just in case
