Radio Turns off Randomly.

Ok this has fooled me up till now. I have checked everything.. Wires. Alternator Wires.. Everything.

Ok Its totaly random. My radio will shut off and turn back on.. And its random on how long the radio is off.. sometimes 1 second.. sometimes 5.. heck even saw 15 seconds.. It dosnt happin all the time and it can go a while with not doing it.

I used to have an old Pioneer and I ended up switching to a factory cd one thinking it was the radio but it has followed to this one. Any idea's before I have to get an electrician look at it?

double, TRIPLE check all the wires... check the fuses...

Could possbily be the ghost that lives in your center console.

Or maybe a loose pin for the power or ground in the wire harness behind the radio. check the connections.
