stock bose radio is messing up

i have a 96 with a stock delco bose radio unit. ive had the car about 2 or three months and the radio has been fine exept for about a week ago i noticed the reading(clock ,cd track,radio station) would start blinkingin and out. it got worse to where it would just go out for about 5 mins then come back. the radio was fine when this would happaen and everything else was perfectly normal. then a couple days ago i was playing a cd and it started blinking and then the speakers got really loud like i turned up the volume then went back to normal. i turned it off and on and it was fine. then this morning i was listening to a cd and it started skipping and then it was fine then it did the same thing until i said f it and listened to the radio which seems to be fine(*knock*knock*). Does anyone have this problem and/or can it be fixed.

my old radio did the same display wise which was a tape player...but then i got a newer cd player from an 01 firebird and the display does that once in a while...sometimes i can just thump the display screen and it would come back...i think the clear peice is what makes it visible or not so try moving it around with your finger tips and see what happens...as for the cd player skipping probly just either needs to be cleaned or the laser is goin out...ebay has newer cd players for camaro's and firebird's and most will work for 93-02's and pretty cheap. hope this helps.

yeah thanks hopefully i wont have to fix anything i took off the fuse box cover and just made sure all the fuses were snug and it seems to be better(so far).
