Yesterday I indtalled 2 alpine type r and a kenwood kac 9102d 1750 watt amp, and when I have the car in park with engine on it sounds great. But when I started driving, like a mile away from my house all of a sudden my service engine air bag seatbelt est.... dash lights flashed on stereo cut out and the car kind of died for a minute. Took it home and was like It has to be the battery, the thing is warped so cleaned it good checked the voltage an was constantly getting 12 thought it was good to go and same thing happend. And now theres a constant turn signal ding(with them not on) untill I shut the door.
ever happen to anybody, where should I go next bigger altenator.
sounds like you wired something wrong. it is a 1800 watt amp ? try to put the stereo on and have the engine reved a little bit and see if the voltage gauge drops below 13

I was told it was a 1750 amp, bought it off my cousin didn't have box or any paperwork. everything wired correctly I'll be checking later today. The thing I was really worried about when I started this was if the alpine and kenwood would work together. Have to head out to work. I'll post what happens when I get home.
Everything seems to be fine now, maybe my battery just needed to be juiced up or my car was just adjusting to a new system. Hopefully this is the last time this happens.
Thanks
