  • Stock Alarm Problems

Hey guys, I have a problem here with my stock alarm. When I lock the doors and the alarm arms, a few moments later the alarm will start to go off. This happens anytime I arm the alarm. Any idea what this could be? Not sure if this is of any importance, but it has rained A LOT the past few days. My car has been outside because of work for a few days and gotten rained on. Not sure if that is important or not though. Guess it could be a short of some sort. Any suggestions? Similar problems?

i dont have a problem with the locks not working, its the alarm going off everytime i lock the car using the remote or the electric lock button on the door. so basically i have to reach across and lock the passenger door by hand, along with the drivers side door before i get out. Its just a matter of time before i lock the keys in my car!

Hey that happens to mine also, what I do is when the alarm goes off hit the lock button again and it stays set, doors locked and all. That is the way I deal with my F*&^&* up alarm. BUT IT WORKS.

if i lock my doors and i sit in the car for like 20 min and then try to unlock it it wont unlock or if i lock my car and have the top down and then i go inside and like a while later come out the doors wont unlock with button inside the car the key fob works when i use it (is this like a safty feature so it wont get stolen or is my car just ****ed up lol?
