  • Rear Shelf installing of 6.5" woofers

I am considering installing two 6.5" woofers but what worries
me is that the shelf is not flat but has those sunken ridges in it.
Would there be a problem mounting these speakers after I cut two of the right size holes? Anyone done it?
    I have 2000 Camaro coupe

???? Are we talking about directly behind the rear seats??? Just double checking.....

DO NOT DRILL THROUGH THERE! Do not cut through there! Do not make any modifications to that area! The gas tank is DIRECTLY underneath it.

I decided to put it back where they belong on either side of the rear seat, I am going to add a Sony Amp to drive them so they have enough power.
