Cigarette Lighter question for a Cavalier

Hey you guys were always helpful with my camaro, so maybe you could help me with my Cavalier. I've got a 97 Cavalier and the cig lighter went out. The fuse seems to be fine. Will changing out the cig lighter fix it or could it be the wiring itself? Also, can I get a replacement at Wal-mart, Autozone,etc?

if the fuse looks fine its could be the wiring but first if u no anyone with a cavalier c if its the lighter itself if it still doesnt work try changing the fuse anyway if that doesnt work u prob will need to rewire it and if all those things dont work quit smoking or buy a lighter from the dollar store

This happened on my friends truck, it was because when he'd pull out the ashtry, and push it back, and after so many years it ripped the wires to it.

Maybe thats what happened to urs...?
