So every now and then my left brake light/ blinker stops workin and i have to get out of the car and tap the light and it works again how do i tighten the connection?!

Replace the bulbs inside of the tailight(s). I had the same problem, and the filiment inside of the bulb was loose. Once I replaced it, the problem went away.
Also, if you're taking everything apart, it best to replace all of the bulbs for preventive maintenance.sigpic -
