Re: %*&^ rockford fosgate!!
Did they blow or did you burn up a voice coil. The difference being that a blown sub (Meaning it actually ripped apart) is caused by distortion (too much volume). A fried voice coil (Speakers looks fine, but does not play) is caused by surpassing the max wattage on the speaker for too long a period of time. Which of these is it? I have had my Rockford HE's for about 5 years now and they are still going great.

Re: %*&^ rockford fosgate!!
How you set the sensitivity on your amp does not determine the # of watts the amp is pushing out. Watts and volume are two different things. Watts do help you reach higher volumes, but they are different. The sensitivity adjustment simply adjust how sensitive your amp is to volume adjustments from the headunit. I looked up the specs on your amp and your P3's. I assumed you had 12's. Anyway, I know that your amp is a class D monoblock amp, but it is only rated at
RMS Power at 4 Ohms 450 W x 1
RMS Power at 2 Ohms 900 W x 1
I could not find a 1 ohm rating for this amp. To the best of my knowledge at 1 ohm you are probably putting out close to 1800watts RMS. Your subs are only rated to take 500watts RMS and 1000watts Max. That would mean you are surpassing the speakers limits and that is why you are frying the voice coils.
