Ok, long story short. I had to guess about the terminals on a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokees Battery. i guessed wrong and blew a couple of fuses...the car starts everything works great...
the fuse for my amp wire right near the battery was fried...so i replaced that...but my headunit wont turn on...
is there another fuse im missing behind the headunit or did i fry the whole thing itself?!
Yes it does have a fuse on the back of your deck (most likely) i have had one on the back oif all of my decks, mine was a small red 10.

im jw if there is anything else that could have happened, bcuz i lost the tool to take out my deck(it has an anti theft device so i cant just rip it out) and i dont wanna take it to a stereo place and pay for them to say "u need a new stereo and u fried allll ur wires"
On my deck i can reach up behind from the left side by the gas, idk if you can get the fuse out, but worth a try.

thanx...i mean its under warranty cuz i got the stupid thing at circuit city...do u think they will cover it if i tell a white lie...like i cranked my stereo and this is what happened? lol
they should cover it.. but on my headunit you can just undo the screws holding the headunit kit thing in and take the whole thing off.. i dont know about you
As a note to self. All batteries have the positive terminal on the right if you are looking at them from the front. Unless is it a ##F battery. Then the terminals are reversed.
i.e. An Acura TLS uses a 28 F battery. 28 being the size and F being the reversed terminals.
