    i was looking around in the back of my 96 firebird on the driver side quarter panel there is a male connector thats not plugged in to anything in the trunk is that the connection for a speaker? the confusing thing is there isnt 1 on the passenger side and the panels dont have the speaker cover on them what is this im seing?

    Maybe it's a plug for the Bose option. Bose has a speaker box that fits into the rear drivers side quarterpanel.

      so if it is where or what could i get to put there? it be cool to have another speaker there...how big could i go also?

        This is the bose speaker box that fit's into the wheel well. That's IF the plug is actually for it, I'm not sure. I'm just taking a shot-in-the-dark guess. And it it does fit, the plug may not be hooked up to anything on the end nearest the stereo unit. Do a little more research before you take my word for it. I don't want to give false info.

          hmmm the connectors looks small anyways... the male connector is big probly fit in the palm of your hand ,its big
