  • Subs to stock radio

When i bought my 96 camaro it didnt come with a headunit, and it has the stock 4-speaker system in it. I like the way the monsoon HU looks so i bought one from vr4gasm, and i plugged it in to the stock harness. It worked, and it sounds good enough for me. the thing is, i want more bass. I searced on here and found out that i need a line output adapter, would http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-RCA-Car-Line...QQcmdZViewItem work? i dont have the money to spend big money on a stereo, so what are the cheepest subs and amps that sound good.

Sparknotes: what are the cheepest subs/amp that sound good?

I believe that's an oxymoron isn't it? Nothing 'cheap' sounds good lol. In the world of car electronics, you get what you pay for. If you buy the 17 dollar woofer from wal mart, it will sound like poop. You have to get to a certian level to acheive moderate performance and quality. Otherwise you are wasting your time and $. I suppose that is one thing we all had to lean from being young and broke is to not skimp in certain areas. Oh and PS I would not buy that particular LOC for any amount. Tapping into speaker wires is a bad idea. Go with a PAC oem-1 unit. Plug and play, with way better sound quality.

Thanks for you suggestion about the LOC, is this the right one? http://cgi.ebay.com/PAC-AUDIO-OEM-1-...QQcmdZViewItem if so will it plug into my radio with little modifications?

Like i said, this is my first car and i dont have much money to spend. I just want to add a little bass to my stock 4 speaker system.

That's the main part. Make sure you get the harness for your car and the rca out jacks. I didn't see that option.
