I think i figured out what im going to do with my stock 4 speaker system to get more bass, but i'm going to need some help. I dont know very much on how you are supposed to wire up speakers and amps. What i want to do is this: http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=63744
I'm going to get some good 8" subs for this, and an amp. My question is, How do i run the wires for the back 2 speakers through an amp before i hook them up to the subs? Is this even possible? Thanks for any suggestions:)
yes it is possible, connect the speaker leads ( + and -)
to a product known as a high to low level adapter its not
for highpower amps however. it is part no. 265-025 $4.20
at parts-express.com or 800 338 0537
I do have a Monsoon amp out of a 01 maro. could i figure out where the rear wires would go and go out if i had the monsoon system. Then just run the stock wires into the amp, and run wires out of it to the subs?
Another quick question. Would subs with a mounting depth a 3.6" fit w-out cutting the 2nd hole? Doesn't really matter to me, I'm just wondering. And how much better would subs put into here sound comparedto being put in their own box? I just want a quick, cheap, and stealthy upgrade to my current ones.
