I wanted to do something different so i designed my own "stealth" box. I missed having my system, but i did not want the speakers to be seen. This would have been easy to doif i had one10", but i prefer the sound of my two 12" pioneer impp's. After thinking of how to mount them and figuring out dimensions for the best sounding box using air volume, i ended with this. This box is built like a tank out a 1/2" MDF and is held together with liquid nails and about 200 brad nails. This set up pounds.. a lot of people don't believe that they are only pioneer impp's, but they are. The sound quality is excellent and it can also hit hard when my head unitis switched to super bass... This is why i only use pioneer products... anyways here are thepics.. let me know what you think....

      MDF - $18
      Carpet - $12
      Terminal - $3

All together - $33 and about one whole day,..only because the liquid nails had to dry

It has a little over 1.8 cubic feet,.. thats about .9 per each sub,.. the recommended for a sealed box for those speakers are .8-1.4 I think it is the perfect volume for the sound I like.

looks very nice good job. did you put a divider in the box to keep them from fighting each other.

It is completely sealed, no ports, and there is a divider in the middle.

In that second picture, is that screws I see on each corner of the box? Is that a lid screwed on so you can't see them, or did you just turn the box over?

It is a lid that I made. I cut to holes, slightly larger than the subs. Covered one side of them withplastic canvas, like a screen, and covered it. It sits over the subs perfectly. And it is screwed downto the box. This way I can take it off to get access to the subs.

8" by 15" by 38"..... if you add the lid to the top it is 9" by 15"by 38"
