Ebay boxes are crap, dont fit well, blow out if you have any decent sub. But sometimes you get one that they made well if you did good for you. My ebay box lasted 3months before the seams broke.

I did not want an e-bay box because i wanted two 12"s but still wanted a place to store my t-tops. Rather than pay a lot of $$$ on a custom box, I just built my own to my own specs and ideas. I never use that area of my car for any thing so I figured it was the best place to put my system. After having it in my car for a while now, I am still extremely happy with it and have been complimented on it time after time. Have even had a couple of f-body owners want me to build them one. Nothing against subthump or ebay, but they didnt offer what I wanted, which is why I did this.

do you use your backseat... I think it would be nice right there. I like having the lid, thats a good idea as well incase you decide to put something in there.
Also... does yours or Niko's rattle the panels any?
Welcome future UK stars... Darius Miller, Deandre Liggins, Kevin Galloway, Josh Harrellson

Second.. At times.. mostly depends on what im listening to,volume, and stereo setings. Since mine is right under theglass... nothing in the back rattles.
wow... sun doesn't make your amp too hot does it? mount it on the side and have this cat make u a lid, lol. Nahh i'm jk. Nice setup... looks good with the darker box.

josh98bird, turn that box you have upside down and thank me later for the deeper and harder bass.
When I get my car back running, I'm making it as light as possible so my subs and everything are coming out. I might be selling my box, and it's made to go the other way (facing downward) in that spot if anyone wants to buy it for relatively cheap. (cheap as in, it might cost more to ship it than the price I would want for it).

Dosent get hot at all. I have 5% meatalized tint in the back so it keeps most the heat out of the back. Plus since were in winter its kinda cold here.
I wish I could put something in my back hatch like that. The glass in my hatch would be knocked out the first parking lot I parked in and I would come out to an alarm sounding and some missing subs and amp.
Nope, not at all. But the ghetto does come into the city and if they see a car with something that flashy just sitting there in the open, it's basically asking them to take it.
I take it you have never had a car broken into before? Once it's happened a few times, you realize you don't have to be in the ghetto, just having things out in the open in your car make people want to take it if the opportunity arises.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
